Terms and Conditions
1.1 “Buyer” means the individual or organisation who buys or agrees to buy the Goods from the Seller;
1.2 “Consumer” shall have the meaning ascribed in section 12 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977;
1.3 “Contract” means the contract between the Seller and the Buyer for the sale and purchase of Goods incorporating these Terms and Conditions;
1.4 “Goods” means the articles that the Buyer agrees to buy from the Seller;
1.5 “Seller” means Offbeat Crew Ltd of 27 Gloucester Street, London, WC1N3AX that owns and operates Duchess London and https://duchesslondon.co.uk;
1.6 “Terms and Conditions” means the terms and conditions of sale set out in this agreement and any special terms and conditions agreed in writing by the Seller;
1.7 “Website” means https://duchesslondon.co.uk.
2.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect the Buyer’s statutory rights as a Consumer.
2.2 These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts for the sale of Goods by the Seller to the Buyer and shall prevail over any other documentation or communication from the Buyer.
2.3 Acceptance of delivery of the Goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the Buyer’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.4 Any variation to these Terms and Conditions (including any special terms and conditions agreed between the parties) shall be inapplicable unless agreed in writing by the Seller.

3.1 All orders for Goods shall be deemed to be an offer by the Buyer to purchase Goods pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and are subject to acceptance by the Seller. The Seller may choose not to accept an order for any reason.
3.2 Where the Goods ordered by the Buyer are not available from stock the Buyer shall be notified and given the option to either wait until the Goods are available from stock or cancel the order and receive a full refund within 14 days.
4.Price and Payment
4.1 The price of the Goods shall be that stipulated on the Website.
4.2 The total purchase price, including delivery and other charges, if any, will be displayed in the Buyer’s shopping cart prior to confirming the order.
5.Rights of Seller
5.1 The Seller reserves the right to periodically update prices on the Website, which cannot be guaranteed for any period of time. The Seller shall make every effort to ensure prices are correct at the point at which the Buyer places an order.
5.2 The Seller reserves the right to withdraw any Goods from the Website at any time.
5.3 The Seller shall not be liable to anyone for withdrawing any Goods from the Website or for refusing to process an order.
6.Age of Consent
6.1 Where Goods may only be purchased by persons of a certain age the Buyer will be asked when placing an order to declare that they are of the appropriate legal age to purchase the Goods.
6.2 If the Seller discovers that the Buyer is not legally entitled to order certain Goods, the Seller shall be entitled to cancel the order immediately, without notice.
We currently ship to:
- UK (free Delivery and Return with our 'Try before you buy service');
- US (for a delivery fee of £20).
Please note that during promotions, sales, and clearances our 'Try Before You Buy service' is not available but we'll still include Free Delivery only.

We ship/deliver Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
Orders placed by 3pm (GMT/BST) Mon-Fri we'll try to ensure next-day delivery. Orders placed on a Friday after 3pm (GMT/BST) will be shipped the next Monday (excluding public holidays).
When placing your order please ensure that the billing and shipping address details are correct, as we are unable to redirect.

8. Cancellations of your order
If you haven’t submitted an order, you may clear the items in your shopping basket at any time by clicking the ‘Remove’ button in your shopping basket next to the product you do not wish to purchase.
If you have placed an order but then wish to change or cancel it, please contact us as soon as you can at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will try our best to make any changes but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so as the order may already have been processed. In such cases, you may have to wait until you receive the order and then follow the normal Returns procedures.
9. Exchanges & Returns - AFTER 'Try before you buy' period expires
You have the right to exchange/return your order within 14 calendar days from the day you have received your purchase.

Items should be returned, unused and with all garment tags still attached.
If the plastic tag attached at the garment is broken we will not refund the garment.
Where provided, belts and any packaging such as instructions, authenticity cards, dust bags, and leather tags should be included with your return.
Our branded boxes are considered to be a part of the product and must be returned with the item(s). This is also to ensure that item(s) arrives back to us in a suitable and undamaged state.
For returns that are damaged or soiled a refund could be refused.
If garments come back with any damage, stains, or signs of wear beyond trying on indoors, fees do indeed apply:
Stains: £75 cleaning fee
Zipper damage: £95 repair fee
Other rips/tears: from £175 repair fee
If the dress is damaged/stained beyond repair, we will have to charge you for the full price of the gown. We hate to go there, so kindly treat the samples with some TLC and return them on time. Any questions? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any doubts.
You will return your items to us using your own shipper and bearing the direct cost of the delivery to us. We recommend that you insure the parcel as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the items and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them. In case of dispute, we also recommend you retain proof of sending. We cannot be responsible for any loss for any item(s) you have chosen to send.
You shall send back the items to us at the address below, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you received your purchase. The deadline is met if you send back the items before the period of 14 days has expired.

All exchanges are subject to stock availability. We charge £6 to deliver to you the exchanged items.
We will withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment, in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. On receipt of returned items, we shall process the refund as soon as possible.
11. Faulty Items
Items are faulty if they are received damaged. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. When items deemed faulty cannot be repaired or the same item is not available, a full refund will be offered.
12. eGift Card
The eGift Card is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card.
eGift Cards have fixed denominations ranging from £750 to £2000.
eGift Cards are only redeemable online at www.duchesslondon.co.uk
eGift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
No change will be given but the balance may be applied to future purchases.
The eGift Card will expire 24 months from date of last activity, e.g. card activation, purchase or refund. At expiry, any remaining balance will be lost.
eGift Cards cannot be returned or refunded.
If any product purchased with an eGift Card is exchanged or refunded, any money owing will be added to the balance on the same eGift Card.
Duchess London reserves the right to refuse to accept an eGift Card which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud.
Duchess London reserves the right to change any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and to take appropriate action including cancellation of the card if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary (e.g. to change the scope of the eGift Card service, notify of the service’s withdrawal or in the event of circumstances beyond its control).
